Junckers logic suggests that ministers and EU leaders who discuss financial matters in public put "millions of people at risk" due to wild swings in financial markets produced by their public commentary.
However, I think this is just an excuse to make undemocratic decisions behind closed doors. The European Commission and the European Parliament have the power to regulate the financial market and it's their duty to act.
In order to stop corruption and decisions behind closed doors, the EU has to be transparent!
